Acting Coach

Having graduated from LAMDA in 2011, I have enjoyed a full and wide-ranging career in Theatre, Film and Television. My stage name is Alice Orr-Ewing and my CV is here: https://www.markhamfroggattandirwin.com/clients/alice-orr-ewing/

I greatly enjoy working on monologues with children who want to pursue Acting, preparing them for auditions and creating show reels that they can send to casting directors and agents. I can help them navigate their options when they're weighing up whether to go to university, National Youth Theatre or straight into the profession.

Alexander Technique Teacher

I trained at LAMDA from 2007-2011. Approaching my final year, I faced trouble with losing my voice and eventually was diagnosed with nodules on my vocal folds. Through lessons with my Alexander Technique teacher, I was able to identify why these nodules were coming about that led to my vocal problems. I was taken on a path of total re-education in my approach to voice use and I am happy to say I have not suffered from voice loss since then and have enjoyed many long runs in theatre shows with large auditoriums. I finished my Alexander training at the Constructive Teaching Centre in July 2023 and am a certified member of STAT- the governing body of Alexander Teachers. I have taught at Rose Bruford and run a private practice in Whitstable, as well as being the in-house Alexander Technique teacher at King's School in Canterbury. I have a valid and up-to-date enhanced DBS Certificate.
